I am an Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies at Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. I received my PhD jointly from the Department of French and Institute of French Studies at New York University in 2013.

I am currently working on a book that proposes a new, decentralized paradigm to Haitian literary history, for which I was awarded a Kluge Fellowship from the Library of Congress. My work has appeared in the journals French Studies and Francosphères, as well as in edited volumes.
